Our activities
We’re building capacity at the individual, organisational and systemic levels to deliver innovative, place-based models of ‘cradle-to-career’ support—grounded in great schools.
We have shown that schools can establish seamless pipelines of ‘cradle-to-career’ support—
from before birth and the perinatal period, through school and beyond.
-
Over the last ten years, we have developed an innovative, high-impact Cradle-to-Career model in Feltham—a historically under-resourced area of southwest London. Our model is starting to show a strong impact on outcomes for children with significant potential to further strengthen the system and our wider community in the years to come.
For example, we recently took on a commission to deliver social prescribing and see particular opportunities around health integration.
Our model is being picked up by government, opposition, sector bodies and think tanks as a model for policy development in the future.
Looking forward, we are well placed to pursue genuine system transformation—to ensure that every child growing up in our community will enjoy the same range of choices as peers in more affluent areas.
-
Over the last five years, we have expanded our work to include a growing coalition of school trusts around the country—from Teeside in the North East to Newquay in the South West—to establish the commitment, knowledge and conditions required for Cradle-to-Career models to thrive elsewhere.Together, we are developing the next generation of school and trust leaders—”locally rooted and nationally connected”—with the ambition, vision, knowledge and relationships required to design, develop and deliver high-quality cradle-to-career models.
Together, we are building the organisational capacity required to design, develop and deliver place-based Cradle-to-Career models of support in their own communities.
Looking forward, we are well-placed to support our partners to deepen their impact while expanding our reach.
Today
We’re working to develop capacity at the individual, organisational and systemic level.
Fixed but in flux
We call people and organisations together to incubate and scale innovative, high-impact solutions to system-wide issues.
While we’ve always worked in this way—and always will—what we’re working on together is always in a state of flux.
We vigorously adapt our activities to anticipate and respond to the issues most affecting the people we serve.
This is because we acknowledge the complexity of the challenges facing young people and their families. We accept the responsibility for addressing them and are ready and willing to adopt new ways of thinking and working to shape a path forward together.
We're extremely proud of this commitment, our capacity and our track record in doing this together over the last 10+ years.
