Reach Schools

In 2012, Reach Schools—our sister organisation—opened our first school.

Why?

Because we believe in the power of all-through education to enable stronger relationships and provide more coherence throughout a child’s educational journey.

We wanted to create a community of pupils, parents and teachers united by the highest expectations of what every young person can achieve and the commitment to do whatever it takes to help them get there.

Reach Academy Feltham is a small, all-through school with 60 children in each year group (from Reception to Year 13).

The school’s small scale ensures that every child can flourish. We are intentional about building strong, trusting relationships and social networks both within and beyond the school’s gates.

Reach Academy Feltham has developed a rigorous, carefully sequenced, backwards-planned, cross-phase curriculum to ensure every child achieves well academically—every lesson, every day—and is well-prepared for the next stage of their journey.

We’ve also learnt that…

Our community wants more children to be able to benefit from our approach.

That’s why we’re opening another school

While Reach Academy Feltham is delivering some of the strongest educational outcomes in the country, and there is substantial demand from local families for places at our school, we didn’t want to simply expand it.

We know that Reach Academy Feltham’s small, human scale is one of the things that enables its success—so we fought to open another school nearby instead.

Our schools are big enough to maintain an expert staff team with a wide range of specialisms. And they’re small enough to develop strong and lasting relationships and a deep understanding of the individual needs of every child and their family.
